The Iris Lamp was an experiment in functional lighting coupled with organic patterns. The vision came from Van Gogh’s Les Iris painting in 1889. Steel sheet was plasma-cut by hand to replicate the outlines of the Iris plants, then boxed together and wired with a low-voltage blue LED light. The piece makes a perfect mood lamp for any room.
